Democrats -- join us each Thursday via Zoom with your favorite cocktail or mocktail to check-in with each other and our greater community. We're dedicating the first half of our time to supporting each other, connecting, brainstorming and expressing gratitude. The second half of our time together will be used for us to collectively make phonecalls through our Virtual Phonebank system to Democrats age 65 years and older to check on them!  Register through the ticket link to receive information about how to connect to event through Zoom and how to connect  to the virtual phonebank.   Zoom Registration: https://zoom.us/s/101143205?fbclid=IwAR3GNLFWEoblIxT-0J0HO3oLQIUo-1PEKOxSjBaEPdcs_HTsGLg-D8dTv_M

Working with our regional city leaders, including Austin City Council Member District 6 Jimmy Flannigan, and Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM), my office is coordinating an initiative to help senior citizens aged 60 and over and people with a disability of any age in House District 136 who are homebound or otherwise have urgent food access needs in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sign up below to help with making phone calls from home, package food at HCCM, food delivery, or donate needed supplies. Volunteers need to be over 16. Please contact District Director Sara Groff with any questions at 512-259-1478 or Sara.Groff@house.texas.gov. Thank you so much for being willing to help out in our community's time of need!
